The Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card is your ticket to the perfect holiday experience. Whether cable car, swimming pool or natural spectacle: with the summer card you have access to everything our beautiful region has to offer! It is included with a vacation in our house.
Summer card = mobility card ! Regardless of when and where – this summer it is important to leave the car behind while on vacation and to explore the region comfortably by public transport – more stress-free and more environmentally friendly than ever before. All highlights and natural spectacles, such as the two local mountains Kitzsteinhorn and Schmittenhöhe, the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs, the Sigmund Thun Gorge, the Krimml Waterfalls or the Großglockner High Alpine Road can be easily reached by train or bus. Take out your card, get in and enjoy the ride on all public transport directly to the destination. And all this is valid for the entire duration of your stay and in the entire Pinzgau region – incl. arrival and departure day! Long searches for parking spaces and traffic jams are definitely a thing of the past with the mobility card.
You will receive your summer card on arrival at our hotel – and the journey of discovery can begin! You absolutely must experience the following six highlights:
Schmitten
Take the Porsche Design gondola to what is probably the most beautiful vantage point in Austria. A very special view awaits you: 30 three-thousand-meter peaks, a panoramic view of the Hohe Tauern, Leoganger and Loferer Steinberge as well as the Pinzgauer Grasberge. In between a lake and a picturesque town … Explore the Schmittenhöhe on one of the numerous hiking trails, discover nature and cool off in one of our three mountain ponds! The Schmitten offers a special experience for the whole family!
Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun
The most magnificent peak in Salzburg offers its visitors a great experience even in summer. The highest viewing platform in the country and the impressive National Park Gallery are the highlights of the “Gipfelwelt 3000”. What’s more, on the Kitzsteinhorn in summer, too, the motto: Have fun in the snow! You can expect a slide, ice bar and snow beach on the glacier plateau. With the new 3-K-onnection you float over the impressive landscape between Maiskogel and the glacier!
Lidos
Our Zeller See is not only beautifully situated; it is also one of the purest bathing lakes in Austria! The summer card offers you free entry to the beach resorts in Zell am See, Thumersbach and Schüttdorf. Heated pools and an additional range of water sports make the beaches fun for young and old.
Kaprun high mountain reservoirs
You can experience the impressive coexistence of nature and technology at the Kaprun reservoirs. The interplay of eternal ice, the precious natural resource water and the latest technology can be experienced not only on one of the numerous hiking trails, but also, for example, on a guided tour through the dam wall. The drive to the lakes by bus alone is already more exciting for many visitors Remembered!

Times of use
Validity period: May 15 to October 31
From May to July 15, all Summer Card attractions can be used without restriction on the day of arrival.
Between July 15 and September 15, the Summer Card is only valid from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. The following attractions can only be used on the second day: Schmittenhöhe ascent with trassXpress or Schmittenhöhebahn, Kaprun glacier cable car, Zeller See boat trip, Kaprun high mountain reservoirs.
